 Its always expected that an organization works in unison, a great sense of co-ordination exists between various stakeholders. This is possible only where there is a clear layout of goals, principles, rules and regulations laid out describing the role of each and every performer.

In a private organization, leaders practice we command you follow policy. Yes, they do listen subordinates but they listen when they are convinced that listening adds their profit performance. At the brink of the moment they can relieve subordinate from existing responsibility to a new domain. Subordinate is expected to pickup from where he has dropped. In short a thought exists in the leadership that every component can be defined as per their convenience exclusively. Leaders share this exclusiveness with their manager who are entrusted with powers to regulate, hire and fire their subordinates.

But when it comes to government organization, its effective operation and strength lies in amount of liberty to perform bestowed upon the different departments delivering their own distinct service. Each section is respected for its independent observation and functioning. Government miserably fails when it began to thinks on lines of private organization and resorts to convert the pillars into a mere propagandist script parroting in order to put forth a rosy picture.

The performance indicator of private entity is all about profits and business expansion strategy. Social service is an optional part for them. When it comes to government organization they have huge responsibility of guaranteeing the welfare of the people who are within their ambit in all the spheres.

Thou shalt be regulated

Do you know, according to wikipedia there are around 26 regulatory bodies in India catering to different segments right from film certification to banking sector. Ultimate aim of regulations is about ensuring fair play among the service providers so that interest of the subscribers is protected from deceptions of errant players.

Utmost, common man is exposed to traffic regulators who help is flow of vehicular moments. These regulations or regulatory authorities are governed by the democratic principles and policies of the government and apply to concerned group without any bias w.r.t. religious or political affinity. These are normal behavior of  regulatory authority.

Now let us understand how this concept of regulations which was initially conceived for systematizing a disorderly entity has slowly been developed into tool for ensuring that governing authority exercises a kind of control over the subjects. Latestly there has been hue and cry by certain sections of society that social media sites are unregulated and therefore posts which doesn't comply with the authority of ruling government appear from various account holders.

Every social media sites have their own regulations under which user is constrained to act upon to maintain healthy atmosphere. Now the government wishes to add an extra layer of regulations so that the sovereignty of the country is safeguarded from attackers.

Difference between social media site regulating your post and a government regulating your post is that social media site regulate you for the maintaining a basic human decorum such as barring you from posting pornographic content or the content that has fake information and so on. But when government pokes its nose they can influence your opinion about the functioning of the government. In short your opinion is either monitored or regulated or both. 

One man show - an assault on diversity

 As you enter a restaurant you request for a menu card and look into variety of food available at the restaurant to pick the tastiest or new variety of dish. You visit a nearby cloth store and search for latest variety of clothing to be in tune with the latest trend. There are variety of books to read, variety of places to visit and variety of films to watch. In short we have been gifted with fundamental right to choose the best option among many.

Now imagine a situation wherein this fundamental right is abducted by a group of people or by an organization and starts imposing its one god, one culture, one language policy. You are right, this is what happening in our country wherein one man and organization which believes in one bigoted ideology are dictating terms to lure the people right from candidates we choose till the god we pray or religion we practice in the name of unification of thoughts and uniformity of choice.In military state this is done by showcase of lethal power, but in democracy this is done by invoking sentimental aspects of herd that is love for religion, love for the nation, love for the language and make the person poke the eye using his own hands. Laws are drafted in such a way that they are bulldozed upon the people who don't have numbers to stop it striking upon root of their distinct practices.

 A one man show who does not buy ideology of fellow human beings is always a danger to pluralism. He will expect the world to follow his wishes and believe in supremacy to arrest the creativeness in the people around. Every reason will be found out / discovered / invented using a dedicated team of hidden hands to convince the mass that this uniformity is for the bright future. The person who is benefited in the uniformity of practices is the person who wishes to rule as there is no need to give special attention to special requirements within the herd. 

 

Plurality can be practiced only by the person who has a broader vision w.r.t. the happenings of the world and unify different practices in such a way that they create a sense of togetherness. India has always been a proponent of unity in diversity and treating all groups of people with an equal yardstick before the constitution conferring equal rights without any distinction based on religion and caste.

 

Limits of My Bhakti

How do I feel when my beloved leader visits the temple which I visit? Elated!!! How do I feel when my beloved leader says I visit only the temple of your faith, build grand temples for you to keep so called OUTSIDERS at a bay to give wings to hate towards fellow groups and claims vote on that factor ? A bhakt would surely get elated at the this aspect for sharing that innate feel of showing places to the other sects. But a honest citizen who doesn't carry the burden of the past would show that leader his place instead for breaking the unity amongst the PUBLIC FORCE in the name of religion.

A mass leader is not a husband or a lover to say that he is reserved for that particular religion or sect. He is the head of the family who understands the sentiments of each and every individual and finds a mid path for everyone to follow. He is not here to pit one member against other and take sides based on the convenience.

 

Coming back to the factor of bhakti, its a completely personal. The God we worship is definitely a fact introduced to us by our parents. As we grow we imbibe those bhakti moments passed on by our parents and learn to live with it. But what happens when the same god becomes point of altercation amongst its followers and non-believers. Except atheist everyone has one or the other god to depend upon in difficult times.

It becomes difficult to digest a person who from no where enters the scene and says that the god we believe in danger due to the other gods. A terror minded person asks you to kill to protect your god, a religious chauvinists asks you to hate other gods to showcase love towards your God. Only a person with wisdom would ask you to chose the path of love to identify the god present within your self who cannot be stolen or desecrated by any other individual. 

Building huge places of worship doesn't mean you are doing great service towards society but the need of the hour is great buildings of world class universities and hospitals that provide relentless service to the people without differentiating as believers and non-believers. God resides is such selfless service towards society.

Terribulence

 Sharpest thing in the world is your immediate action, reaction to an incidence. That sharpness can have myriad of consequences based on what you are actually up-to with your actions. A welcome change or unwelcome response.

We have no log book for the actions but a selfless action will be appreciated if not immediate but in some form or the other. A smooth curve of life is not a guaranteed scheme. A turbulence shall be in waiting for which we have to be ready.

A solemn behavior towards  an challenge that arises during course of turbulence shall create an atmosphere of fulfillment and spring in a surprise feeling of being able to handle the vagaries stupendously.

We should check in at the right moment so that support structure shall be able to handle our emotions in dignified manner. Letting our faith in others be allowed to take a complete control during emergencies shall be a guiding star.

Jai Kisan

It has been almost 6 months since we have been allowed to visit the relatives house or freely visit a friends house. All thanks to Corona. It has strained already feeble relationship curve and created more islands of people to find happiness in loneliness.

 

This pandemic has been courteous to ruling class where the protests marches are avoided or not given permission showcasing the spread of disease as  a cause factor. But still on the other hand our brave farmers are out on streets protesting the recent developments knowing that dangers of pandemic are still hovering around them.

 No one knew that such times will occur wherein they will have to challenge the pandemic all for cause of making their stance loud and clear to the ruling class who otherwise remain mute to the expectations of the people around.There is no other option before the working class and they are forced to come out in such huge numbers. 

 

Hope ruling class gets acquainted to the fact wherein the farmers have taken risk to come out in huge numbers and has adequate data on this front which otherwise has NO DATA AVAILABLE on important matters.

Silence matters

The day your mobile is put into silent mode will be the most fulfilling day as you can look into the world different from the online hook up. No notifications, no calls to answers but vibration mode can still make your connection intact only if you carry the mobile with you.

The most important place where silence matters is the library where you are expected not to affect the book lovers who are in deep connection with their books. One creaking sound from chairs will make the heads turn towards you of course with a sorry look.

Second place where silence matters is in the class room during lecture. No matter how boring the lecture may be but you are supposed to hear the same without local commenting the process or the procedure. Next place where the silence is expected is during the yoga sessions to fell the divinity.

Even the most active person shall come under the shadow of the silence during their life time experience.
