Age of information blitzkrieg

Information has become cheap, So has its veracity. Gone are the days when we used to wait for the sources to watch out for our means of information. Waiting for that early morning news paper or favorite news hour on a bonafide TV channel or official communication from a legacy organization about the next big thing around us.

But now the scenario has completely become user centric where information waits for the user and reminds its presence in their inbox in the form of push notification. It even wants you to feedback on whether the information was useful or not to serve you much better.

Question remains how this information has played a role in its portrayal of things around you. Its the age of free source and paid source. Paying for the information is the last thing one would do if he is already burdened by the acute poverty except for the admission forms of school, hospital and employment.

This one single reason has become the play field for non-authetic information from attacking the vulnerable and thus keeping the disillusioned away from the realities which could have otherwise played a role in changing the scenario of collective conscience w.r.t matters of shaping the future.
