Art of conveying the God's message

Not often in life do you meet someone who comes to you with a message from God. More often, the message comes from within—what we sometimes call God’s message. It is not like some kind of akashvani or a voice that arrives with certainty and spectacle. Rather, some messages change who you are within yourself.

That change is the very thing that constitutes the message God has for you, or for the world in which you take part. And that message exists to alter the world from within. So what happens after the message has transformed the world inwardly? The next step is for the world to live the message. It is as simple as that.

But what if the message is not lived as it was intended to be? That is precisely what is happening right now. It is the presence of choice that makes the message truly from God. If there were no choice, then the message would not be from God, but from the one who is God in exile.

So the message is conveyed through the transformation of the world from within. It is then up to the world to live the message or reject it. Based on that choice, the world may come to its own conclusion about whether the message was from God or from the God in exile.

Limits of My Bhakti

How do I feel when my beloved leader visits the temple which I visit? Elated!!! How do I feel when my beloved leader says I visit only the temple of your faith, build grand temples for you to keep so called OUTSIDERS at a bay to give wings to hate towards fellow groups and claims vote on that factor ? A bhakt would surely get elated at the this aspect for sharing that innate feel of showing places to the other sects. But a honest citizen who doesn't carry the burden of the past would show that leader his place instead for breaking the unity amongst the PUBLIC FORCE in the name of religion.

A mass leader is not a husband or a lover to say that he is reserved for that particular religion or sect. He is the head of the family who understands the sentiments of each and every individual and finds a mid path for everyone to follow. He is not here to pit one member against other and take sides based on the convenience.

 

Coming back to the factor of bhakti, its a completely personal. The God we worship is definitely a fact introduced to us by our parents. As we grow we imbibe those bhakti moments passed on by our parents and learn to live with it. But what happens when the same god becomes point of altercation amongst its followers and non-believers. Except atheist everyone has one or the other god to depend upon in difficult times.

It becomes difficult to digest a person who from no where enters the scene and says that the god we believe in danger due to the other gods. A terror minded person asks you to kill to protect your god, a religious chauvinists asks you to hate other gods to showcase love towards your God. Only a person with wisdom would ask you to chose the path of love to identify the god present within your self who cannot be stolen or desecrated by any other individual. 

Building huge places of worship doesn't mean you are doing great service towards society but the need of the hour is great buildings of world class universities and hospitals that provide relentless service to the people without differentiating as believers and non-believers. God resides is such selfless service towards society.

We are What our Gods are....

GOD and it is that word which everyone of us relate to in difficult times though not at happy times. Atheists may say there is no God but still they thrive upon the word "GOD" with a suffix "IS NO WHERE". 

Being an Indian, I believe in God. As said in the film Life of PI, we are introduced to many Gods in Indian culture and even I know few of them. But I wonder the need for so many Gods for us and why we need so many Gods altogether?  Doesn't one God is enough to satisfy our needs and save us from dire situations? 

These questions really put me on high thinking mode and the answer for this question was really strange. I mean to say, we are really what we think our Gods are by heart. Yeah, its true.

However harsh or rude a person may behave with you, he has his own God and he has his own prayers to the God. Try to find out the God he follows and you will be shocked to find that he truly resembles the God he follows.

I can give give you examples of reality. Just observe the Buddhist/Jains they truely resemble the qualities of the Lord Buddha/ Jain by heart even though they may not be so in the material world of business which requires them to lie/hoodwink. But by heart they want to be like Lord Buddha, they want to follow him by heart given an opportunity.

Similarly in tamil culture we have God's like karrupu samy, ayyanar etc and these gods are really rude and they are said to consume alcohol, non veg. And you will find that people who follow these Gods really like to consume alcohol and non veg and resemble their God by heart.

My point is that GOD is the one who we really to live like by heart, though we may behave differently with people around. He is the first source of inspiration to us.
